Last Updated: March 12, 2026
Important note about what we do
ordvienta is an education studio. This website provides educational training only and does not offer textile manufacturing services. Any examples, checklists, and instructional materials are provided for learning purposes and should be adapted to the specifics of your fabric, hardware, workspace, and project constraints.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ordvienta website (the “Site”) and any related educational content, including course outlines, lesson descriptions, worksheets, and communications (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are operated by Ordvienta Education s.r.o. (“ordvienta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By visiting the Site, submitting a registration or contact form, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Minimum age: you must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Site and submit forms. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference and explains how we process personal data.
2. Service description
ordvienta provides online educational training related to curtain and tulle design, sewing techniques, and interior textile craftsmanship. Content may include guidance on measuring, pattern planning, fullness ratios, seam allowances, pressing sequence, lining and interlining choices, headers (including wave tape and pleat systems), and hardware fit checks.
The Services are provided “as is” and may be updated, expanded, reduced, or discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular topic, module order, or specific technique will remain available or unchanged.
3. Educational disclaimer
The Services provide general educational information and training. They are not a substitute for professional, on-site assessment of a specific space, window, hardware system, or fabric batch. Sewing and textile work involves variables such as fabric shrink behavior, heat sensitivity, machine tension, needle selection, and handling technique. Outcomes depend on materials, equipment, and practice, and results will vary.
You are responsible for testing on offcuts, following safety instructions for tools and equipment (including irons and cutting tools), and verifying measurements before cutting. When in doubt, consult a qualified professional for equipment servicing, electrical safety, or specialist fabric care.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Use the Site in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, servers, or related systems, or attempt to bypass security or rate limits.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the Site using automated means without our prior written permission.
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information in forms.
- Transmit malware, phishing content, or any code designed to interrupt or damage systems.
- Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited promotional messages.
- Use the Services from regions where access is restricted by applicable sanctions or export control laws.
We may suspend or restrict access to the Services if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we need to protect the Site, our users, or our business.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and Services, including text, graphics, course structure, templates, and brand elements, are owned by or licensed to Ordvienta Education s.r.o. and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works, or exploit the content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal educational purposes. This license does not permit resale, redistribution, or posting of our materials on other websites or platforms.
6. Third-party services and links
The Site may reference or link to third-party services. Third-party websites and services are not controlled by ordvienta, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ordvienta Education s.r.o. and its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services.
To the extent permitted by law, our total direct liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the Services in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ordvienta Education s.r.o. from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another party.
10. Force majeure
We will not be liable for delays, failures, or interruptions in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, public health emergencies, power outages, internet or cloud provider failures, or cyberattacks.
11. International use
The Services are operated from Czechia. We make no representation that the Services are appropriate or legally available for use in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with local laws where you access the Services.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise, disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the courts with competent jurisdiction in the Czech Republic.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence and to benefit from mandatory consumer protections under your local law.
13. Dispute resolution
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. Many questions can be resolved quickly by email if you include the context of your request and the email address used to contact us.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access could create risk for the Site or other users. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law will survive termination.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
16. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ordvienta Education s.r.o. regarding your use of the Services and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements or communications on the subject.
17. Assignment
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
18. No waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
19. Modifications to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective 14 days after we post the revised Terms on this page, unless a shorter period is required for security or legal compliance. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
